Cartography of Scars

Map me by my scars— each one a coordinate of where I've been and what I survived. This one on my knee: childhood recklessness, the summer I thought I could fly. This one on my heart: the winter someone left without a forwarding address. I am a landscape of healed wounds and weathered roads, and I am still worth exploring.
