Wildflower Season

I am learning to grow where I was not planted— to push through the cracks in someone else's pavement and still call it home. The soil here is different, the rain comes at odd hours, but I have roots that know how to bend without breaking. This is wildflower season. This is the year I bloom not because conditions are perfect, but because I refuse to stay underground.
